REVAVA

The religious community village of Revava was established in 1991 as a result of a partnership between Amana and Keren L'Geulat Karka B'Yisrael.

Situated conveniently between the thriving town of Ariel with its college and abundance of commercial, cultural and social services and the industrial area of Barkan, Revava's 130 families enjoy their pastoral environment and temperate climate with employment, learning and cultural activities just minutes away.

While pre-schoolers receive warm, quality care and early learning development in the community, elementary school age children are provided with transportation daily to nearby Karnei Shomron.

Revava girls study at Ulpana Tsvia in Revava from 7th through 12th grade while high school boys have much fine yeshiva-based school from which to choose in neighboring communities.

In addition to the separate (girls and boys) Bnei Akiva activities scheduled weekly, some of the varied extracurricular activities for children are folk dancing, music, art, judo, various sports and many others.

There are many Torah classes offered for adults including an evening Kollel. In addition, men are often found playing basketball and other sports on the community's fields.

Community facilities include a mikveh, library and grocery store with medical facilities located in Yakir and Ariel.

Egged Lines 473 and 474 stop in Revava several times daily.
