PEDUEL

Graduates of the Alon Shvut Hesder Yeshiva established the religious community of Peduel in 1984. Today 155 families between the ages of 20-50 makes their homes in Peduel, mostly veteran Israelis but with a few oleh families from South Africa and Russia.

Children from day care age through elementary school are cared for and taught within the community. The elementary school classes are divided according to gender.

Most of Peduel's high school girls learn in the Lehava Ulpana in Kedumim while some of the boys learn in Karnei Shomron and others choose to travel further to other educational institutions around the country.

HaRav Katz serves as the spiritual and administrative head of the Hesder Yeshiva, "Eretz HaTsvi", located in Peduel. There is also an Evening Kollel where adult residents learn every Thursday and enjoy outside teachers/lecturers as well.

In addition to the synagogue, there is a mikveh, library, grocery store, medical clinic and gym.

The Bnei Akiva Youth Group provides regular weekly activities. There are also a variety of extracurricular activities such as drama and aerobics for women and music, drama, exercise, art, judo and basketball for youngsters.

Egged Line 447 from Tel Aviv travels to Peduel daily.
