SANSANA

46 young religious families between the ages of 27-37 make their homes in this southern community village established in 2000, working in the fields of medicine, social work, education, security services and others.

Pre-schoolers are cared for and guided through early child development in Sansana while elementary age children are provided with transportation daily to Metar and Sussia.

Extracurricular activities for children are available from the area Matnas.

Women celebrate Rosh Chodesh together as well as learning about tefila weekly and participating in group sports. Men have a variety of learning opportunities during the week and a lively weekly basketball game every Motzei Shabbat.

The Bet Midrash in Sansana is the center of much of the community's life together with a Talmud Torah for children twice a week, classes for parents and their children together and a variety of adult education meetings.

Every Shabbat there is a special service for children and their parents followed by a community Kiddush. Families also get together for community trips during the summer, a traditional Succot event and many organized community evenings.

In addition to the community synagogue and mikveh, there is also a library and grocery store with the full spectrum of national health insurance clinics in neighboring Metar.

Public transportation is most easily accessible to Sansana from The Central Bus Station in Beersheva
