TAL MENASHE

61 Torah observant families, native-born Israelis and olim from France, Argentina and Switzerland, make their homes in Tal Menashe in the Northern Shomron near the Trans-Samarian Highway.

Mostly professionals, their work varies from the field of education, security, computers, administration and others. They are within comfortable commuting distance from several centers of employment.

While pre-school children are cared for in the day care center and kindergartens within the community, elementary school children learn in the government religious school, Talilei Orot, with boys continuing on to either Givat Shmuel or Kfar HaRoeh and the girls studying in Hadera.

Both Oz and Bnei Akiva are active in Tal Menashe along with a variety of other after school activities. There is a gym and library available and, during the summer months, a swimming pool in neighboring Shaked.

Community facilities include a synagogue, mikve, and medical clinic with a grocery store available in Shaked.

Public transportation is available to and from the community three times daily.
